The TUCC shop has 3 resident furniture Upcycler’s and a group of 6 resident Crafts people that work with a diverse range of materials including metal, wood and various fabrics, we also have a number of visiting artisans that showcase their work at the centre, click on the images below to see their collections of work.

Sarah's Attic

Sarah Peterson our in-house designer and maker features regularly on the BBC's 'Money for Nothing' TV show where she creates unique designs out of items that have been saved from landfill.  When she is not in front of the cameras you can find her in the workshop where she could be working on anything from a lampshade to reupholstering a chair to refinishing a sideboard!

Lesley from Lelley Makes, upcycles discarded jeans into bags, homewares and anything else that catches her creative attention!

The Phantom Workshop

Rachel from The Phantom Workshop upcycles bicycle parts into clocks, candle holders, coasters and much more!

Isa Whimsical Furniture

Isa from Isa Whimsical Furniture is one of our resident furniture upcyclers, a true artist, each piece she creates is a one-off work of art.

Dave Gray Woodturner

Dave is a master woodturner who has been working with wood for over 25 years, he creates beautifully sculpted vases, bowls and fruit.

Coloured Concepts


Clare from Coloured Concepts is one of our resident furniture upcyclers, she has the ability to take an old brown piece of furniture and make it into a thing of beauty! 

Ragged House

Sarah from Ragged House is passionate about upcycling textiles. Working with a range of recycled material, she designs and makes a range of homewares that combine contemporary design, traditional craftmanship and sustainability.

Rock and Thistle

Kerry from Rock and Thistle creates whimsical, quirky, happy little houses and cottages with positive feel good messages from off cuts of wood, found branches and reclaimed textiles.

Visiting Artists

As well as our resident artisans we welcome new and visiting creatives to the TUCC shop to showcase their work.  At present we have the amazing Sheila from Sew Creative Chairs with her fabulous range of hand embroidered chairs, Hazel from Inkwood Redesign who transforms midcentury classics, Pauline from Up and Stunning Furniture with her amazing collection of up cycled furniture, Rebecca from Rebecca's Redesigns who creates beautiful pieces of furniture using decoupage and finally, but not least, Vanessa from Loved Up who decorates pieces of furniture, found mirrors or picture frames with the lyrics from songs in a graffiti styling!
